Products and Services:
We take orders for our gifts baskets from anywhere in the World but only for delivery within the United Kingdom. We reserve the right to substitute items to the same or greater value if an availability issue on one or more items occurs. A full refund will be given if you are not completely satisfied.
Prices:
Prices shown on our gift baskets are inclusive of VAT where appropriate. Prices quoted do not include carriage.
Payment:
We accept all major credit/debit cards via secure server. Your card will be debited the week the goods are despatched. This allows customers to submit their orders in advance for a prearranged date and payment will therefore not be processed until that time. If you prefer not to order online please call us on 0141 931 5582 where we will be happy to take your order. Cheques should be made payable to 'Gifts by Arrangement'. Goods paid for by cheque will be despatched once the cheque has cleared.
Overseas customers:
Our UK Sterling prices will be converted into local currency by your card provider at the current exchange rate.
Delivery:
Unless placing advance order goods will normally be despatched within 24-48 hours Monday to Friday using a Next Day Delivery Service. Deliveries to some parts of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland may take 2-3 days. At peak periods such as Christmas, delivery times may increase. Deliveries can be made on a Saturday but at an extra cost.
Gifts by Arrangement cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of goods if the recipient's address information supplied was incorrect.
Gifts by Arrangement cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of goods if no one was available to take delivery. Our couriers require a signature before they will leave the goods although special delivery instructions i.e. leave with neighbour; etc. can be indicated on our order form. If no one is available a card will be left allowing you to reschedule or collect the goods at a mutually agreeable time.
Cancellation:
If cancellation is received before the goods are despatched we will refund the total cost of the order.
After despatch, by law, the customer, has the right to withdraw from the purchase within seven working days ('cooling off period') after the day it is received. They must inform us, within that time, in writing, to this effect. The goods must be returned, at the customer's own expense, in perfect, unused condition (cellophane wrapping intact) to qualify for a refund. A full refund will be given, using the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to return the goods to us.
Refunds/Returns:
In the unlikely event that the goods do not arrive in perfect condition please advise us within seven working days of receipt and we will be happy to exchange or arrange a full refund on receipt of the damaged goods. Please contact us immediately for details on how to return these items to us.
Complaints:
We offer a personal service and the satisfaction of our customers is vitally important to us. If, for any reason, you think we have failed in this endeavour we would like to hear from you. We take any complaint very seriously and hope we can resolve any issues raised promptly. Please contact us either in writing, by email or by telephone.
Privacy:
The information collected from you at the time you place an order (yours or those you gift to) will be stored in our database and only used to carry out your instructions and action your payment. Under no circumstances will this information be passed to a third party.
